Since 2018, Cinema Damàre has offered over 90 free seaside screenings to promote culture and youth gathering, becoming over time a summer hub for the local and holiday-making community. 

The 9th edition returns for the 2026 season with 11 events (from June 6th to August 21st), continuing this precious tradition. 

The collaboration between the production company Mondo Rosso Productions, the Screenworld editorial staff, and the Bagni Etruria beach resort in Castiglioncello, with the support of Nannini Marco's Unipol Rosignano, combines the flavor of summer with the thrill of great cinema, putting the importance of short films as vehicles for great stories back at the center. 

Film evenings by the sea with free admission to the Cinema Damàre Castiglioncello Film Festival (CDCFF) produced by Mondo Rosso (now in its ninth edition), during which each evening will be punctuated by a pre-show offered by the Screenworld and Mondo Rosso editorial staff to present the screening to the public.

The evenings will follow the traditional Cinema Damàre format: on the standard dates, screenings will begin at 10:00 PM, while the LIVE events will feature Giuseppe Grossi and Giacomo Giaquinto of ScreenWorld and film critic Niky Argento presenting introductory talks and dedicated film clubs starting at 9:00 PM.
